Only a portion of my lights work
This guide outlines ways to fix an Evolution system that has a portion of lights that are not responding to App commands. This guide may be helpful if the app shows the selected pattern working but the lighting is not.
Solution 1: Confirm Zone Settings
- Open your Evolution App and click the Settings icon.
- Tap Controller Settings.
- Referencing the Customer Folder that came with your system, input the correct Light Count for each Zone you have setup.
- Ensure that each Zone is Enabled and Mirrored correctly.

Solution 2: Disconnect your Oelo System from power
- Flip off the breaker associated with the Oelo System and wait 10 minutes.
- Flip the breaker back on then use the app to test that your lights are working properly.
Solution 3: Factory reset your Oelo System
- On the Control Unit Board, press and hold the Test button for 5 seconds until the Light Strand turns RED.
- Wait for the BLUE light on the Control Unit Board to start flashing quickly.
- Relaunch the Oelo Evolution App and follow the Initial Setup Steps
- Confirm that the lights are working properly.

Solution 4: Replacing a bad LED
If you have tried the solutions above and your system still does not turn off, you may have a bad LED Light.
